Labour law vendor audit envisages a systematic scrutiny of statutory payments, records and returns prescribed under labour legislations that are required to be complied by the manpower supply and job work vendors. Non-compliance or partial compliance of vendors with reference to provident fund, ESI and minimum wages payments will create liability on the principal employer.
The liability will attract both interest and damages and will become huge financial liability on the principal employer. Audit will help the employer to identify non-compliance by the vendors and take corrective action without delay. A comprehensive report will be submitted on completion of the audit process with appropriate suggestions for implementation.
